Hello and Welcome!
My name is Ryan Eng, Director of Photographer and Camera Operator based in Los Angeles, California.
Reflecting on my past, a sense of joy fills me when I recall the beautiful memories exploring the hallowed halls of the Art Institute of Chicago. It was during these youthful moments, in the midst of awe-inspiring artworks, that I truly connected the extraordinary power of visual art. Tracking with the creator as they ask us to explore and connect through our individual lens the concepts of community, environment, and self.
As a shooting DP and collaborative storyteller for commercial, narrative and documentary work, I take great pride in guiding the projects’ visuals; delivering exceptional narrative concepts through masterful execution in lighting, camera composition and movement.
Let’s embark on this storytelling journey together, bringing viewers in close as we showcase the captivating and intangible — the "je ne sais quoi" qualities that quietly breathe life into scenes to: strengthen a brand’s domestic/global stance, expound characters and/or relationship and showcase/demand a call to action in each genre of work.
